Swift Seal Nylon

The Swift Seal Nylon has many similarities with the Universal Seal but is more than 2x as strong (35 Kg) thanks to the applied Nylon PA 6.6. As a result, the seal cannot be opened by hand. The only Ø 2.3 mm smooth tail makes it easy to string through a narrow opening. The choice of this type of Nylon has several advantages. This makes the seal very durable, temperature resistant, and resistant to chemicals. This makes the seal suitable for sealing IBCs and Roll containers, among others. This indicative seal is provided with unique printing and ascending numbering to prevent fraud.

High-quality smooth seal made of Nylon (PA 6.6) with metal Insert

The Swift Seal is an extremely high-quality plastic seal made from nylon. The exact material type is PA 6.6 and also known as Nylon 6.6. This special material provides extra rigidity, making the seal very difficult to break. It also makes the seal wear-resistant and is therefore extra temperature resistant from -40 to +85 degrees Celsius. The Swift Seal can also have short peaks (a few seconds) in temperature from -110 to +256 degrees Celsius. This makes the seal unique in comparison to other plastic seals.

To seal the strong seal safely and securely, the Swift Seal is provided with a so-called metal “insert”. The tail of the seal must be pulled through the metal locking mechanism to seal. The steel teeth in the insert are placed in the form of a barb. The tail of the seal can therefore only be closed in one direction. On the back of the seal, several arrows indicate on which side the seal tail should be placed. Once sealed, the seal cannot be opened without visible damage.

To tighten the seal properly, the end of the seal tail is provided with ridges. This creates more grip to easily pull the seal on by hand.

Despite its narrow diameter (2.3 mm), its very high breaking strength of 35 kg

The seal’s tail the seal is only 2.3mm in diameter. The smooth tail and narrow diameter make installation easy, even on objects with a small opening or limited space. Thanks to the use of high-quality Nylon 6.6 and the strong metal insert, the seal has a breaking strength of no less than 35 kg. Similar seals made of polypropylene or polyethylene, such as the Universal Seal, have a breaking strength of 15 to 20 kg. With its breaking strength of 35 kg, the Swift Seal is more than twice as strong, which makes this seal unique.

Can only be broken with pliers due to the high breaking strength

The strong Nylon 6.6 makes it virtually impossible to break the Swift Seal by hand. The Swift Seal belongs to the category of indicative seals. This means that the seals only serve as an indication and can be opened relatively easily. Other classifications are Security Seals (for example the Cable Seal 150 with steel cable) and High-Security Seals for the transport of sea containers (for example the Cable Seal 350 ). Despite the classification “indicative”, the Swift Seal, unlike other indicative seals, cannot – or hardly – be broken by hand. The advice is to break the Swift Seal with a side cutter.

Seal suitable for sealing IBCs and Roll containers, among others

This type of seal is used where extra high demands are placed on safety, such as in the chemical industry, pharmacy or in the transport sector. Partly thanks to its high breaking strength and narrow diameter, the seal is suitable for sealing, for example, heavily loaded roll containers. This is because the lock of roll containers can be under high pressure, which requires a strong seal. Another common application of the Swift Seal is to seal IBCs, a large liquid tank. Due to the thin seal tail, this seal easily fits through the closure of an IBC. The Nylon 6.6 material is also resistant to the corrosive action of a large number of chemicals.

Provided with one-off production the unique print and ascending numbering

The Swift Seal has a unique print. From stock, the seal is provided with the text “SWIFT SEAL” in combination with a unique ascending numbering. Both Navacqs and the manufacturer ensure that each combination is only produced once. This can prevent fraud and manipulation.
