250 ml glass sample bottle

The 250 ml glass sample bottle, packaged per 60 pieces and sealed with clear foil, weighs 140 grams per bottle and 8.4 kg per tray. A pallet can hold 1800 pieces. Supplied with cap, transparent glass for easy inspection. The bottle features a type 28 DIN opening and is made of type 3 glass.

Our 250 ml glass sample bottle is supplied with a cap as standard. Unlike all our other products, we only offer glassware orders smaller than one pallet for pickup at our warehouse. Orders of one pallet or more can be shipped to you by courier.

This decision was made due to the fragility of glassware. By offering the 250 ml glass sample bottle for pickup only, we can ensure the integrity of the products and ensure that you receive your order in perfect condition.

In addition to this variant, we also offer glass sample bottles in 500 ml and 1000 ml. All are suitable for a wide range of samples, including water and other liquids.

Packaged per 60 pieces

The 250 ml glass sample bottle is sealed with clear foil per 60 pieces (a tray). One 250 ml glass sample bottle weighs 140 grams. A tray with 60 pieces therefore weighs 8.4 kg. A pallet can hold 1800 pieces. Between each layer of glassware, we place a sturdy cardboard sheet to reduce pressure on the glassware. In total, we stack the bottles six high and then seal this stack with clear foil.

Supplied with cap

Just like our HDPE sample bottles, we also supply our 250 ml glass sample bottle with a cap. However, if you have other preferences, that is of course possible. The bottles are also available without a cap. The caps are also available without the bottles. Let us know what you want via email or phone.

Color: transparent

Transparent glass makes it easy to check the contents of the 250 ml glass sample bottle without opening the bottle, which is convenient for quickly assessing the volume, clarity, and any contamination of the sample.

Type of opening: 28 DIN

A type 28 DIN opening on a glass sample bottle means that the 250 ml glass sample bottle has a neck diameter of 28 millimeters with a specific thread according to the DIN standard.

Type of glass: type 3

This is the most common glass, made of silica, soda, and lime. It has good chemical resistance and is suitable for dry powders and oral liquids but is less resistant to strong acids and bases than Type I and Type II glass. It is often used for food packaging and general laboratory bottles.
