The Universal Seal TA is a variant of our already well-known Universal Seal and offers additional possibilities. This special seal is equipped with a tear strip (Tear-Away), making it easy to open by hand without the need for tools. It also features an enlarged flag that provides more space for your logo or text, with dimensions of 35mm x 13mm compared to the traditional 29mm x 13mm of the Universal Seal.

Tear strip for easy opening

The integrated tear strip makes it easy to open the seal by hand without the need for tools. The base of the seal is the same as the conventional Universal Seal, as is the breaking strength. Although the seal can withstand a load of 15 kg, the tear strip ensures that the seal can be easily removed. This saves time and effort while maintaining the security of your seal.

Thin (2.3 mm) and sturdy seal with breaking strength of 15 kg

The diameter of the Universal Seal TA is 2.3 mm. It fits easily through narrow openings. Moreover, the smooth seal tail ensures that the seal does not get caught, as sealing with a serrated seal tail can be uncomfortable. With a breaking strength of 15 kg, the Universal Seal TA can easily be broken by hand.

Large flag for individual design

The Universal Seal TA in orange is supplied from stock with a standard imprint (DO NOT REMOVE SEALED) and clear ascending numbering. The enlarged flag of the Universal Seal TA provides more space for your logo or text, with dimensions of 35mm x 13mm, significantly more compared to the traditional 29mm x 13mm. In addition to the standard product, it is possible to customize the Universal Seal TA with your own imprint, such as your company name or logo. Smooth seal tail with stainless steel locking mechanism for extra ease of sealing

The Universal Seal TA is a versatile seal, partly thanks to its smooth sealing surface. This ensures that the seal can be easily pulled through (narrow) openings. At the end of the seal tail, there are a few serrations. This serrated end provides extra grip when placing the seal. In addition to the smooth seal tail, the Universal Seal TA has an extra strong closure. The locking mechanism consists of a stainless steel ring with teeth. The teeth are arranged in the shape of a barb. This means that the tail of the seal can only be moved in one direction. Opening is not possible without breaking the seal. Therefore, reusing the seal is not an option. To properly close the seal, there are a number of arrows on the back of the locking mechanism. These arrows indicate the side where the seal tail should be inserted.

Material resistant to extreme temperatures and chemicals

This seal is made of high-quality polypropylene (PP). This reliable material is suitable for most chemicals. PP is also resistant to temperatures. The Universal Seal TA can withstand temperatures from -40 to +80 degrees Celsius. Another advantage of using PP is its high rigidity, making the seal particularly strong. Despite its stiffness and strength, the material is still flexible, facilitating threading on the work surface.

The unique properties make the Universal Seal TA a versatile all-rounder. The Universal Seal can be used without any problems for sealing, for example, tank trucks. The smooth seal tail glides easily through the openings of the seals. The material is also resistant to chemicals. This makes the seal also suitable for sealing IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers).

Ascending numbering and unique imprint

The Universal Seal TA has a unique imprint with ascending numbering. This makes each Universal Seal TA unique and prevents fraud. Another advantage is that the white imprint on a black background is lasered. This provides high contrast, making the imprint easily readable.
