The labels consist of two layers joined by a specially formulated acrylic adhesive. After application (requiring a bonding time of 15–20 minutes), the label cannot be removed without leaving visible evidence. When peeled away, the layers separate, revealing the warning “OPENED” on the surface. The label leaves virtually no adhesive residue, making it ideal for applications where a clean surface must be preserved. The Label Lock Low Residue belongs to the Low-Residue category. For situations requiring a permanent warning imprint, the Label Lock High Residue is the recommended alternative.

Designed for smooth surfaces

These labels adhere best to metal, glass, and lacquered wood. They are ideal for use on doors (indoor and outdoor), electronic devices, computers, tablets, phones, and first aid kits. The adhesive is moisture- and rain-resistant for up to 24 hours, provided it is applied to a clean, smooth surface.
