Lashing eyes, also known as D-rings or lashing points, form the basis of any professional load-securing system. They provide a fixed attachment point for chains, tensioners and straps and are used frequently in maritime, offshore and transport applications. The lashing eyes from Navacqs are made from high-quality forged steel and are available in various strengths, ranging from 4 tons up to an impressive 67 tons of breaking strength.
Depending on the application, you can choose between welded or removable lashing eyes.
Welded lashing eyes, such as the LP-6, LP-12, LP-13, LP-14 and LP-67, are welded directly onto the deck, chassis or loading floor and provide a permanent securing point.
Removable variants, such as the U-Frame LP-91-45 and the Breech Base LP-21, are placed into a base plate (DF-31 or DF-66) and can be easily removed when not needed. This makes them multifunctional and prevents obstacles when cargo types change.
Many lashing eyes are designed to be used in combination with twistlocks and base plates within the Navacqs assortment.
The U-Frame LP-91-45 fits into the Deck Socket DF-31, often used together with the Dovetail Twistlock BF-11. This allows either a container or a heavy construction to be secured to the same deck.
The Breech Base LP-21 is often used with the DF-66 base plate and is loadable in four directions, ideal for complex cargo configurations or limited space.
All lashing eyes are made from heat-treated steel and finished with a corrosion-resistant primer or galvanisation. Breaking strengths range from 4 tons (LP-6) to 67 tons (LP-67), while the working load limit (WLL) is typically half of that value. These specifications meet international standards for load securing and make them suitable for professional use on ships, trailers, pontoons and heavy machinery.
All lashing eyes are supplied with a matching welding plate, allowing welding to be carried out quickly and accurately. Thanks to the robust materials and protective coatings, they are resistant to harsh conditions such as seawater, shocks and temperature fluctuations.
Whether securing machinery on a trailer, fixing containers to a deck or anchoring offshore equipment: Navacqs offers a complete range of lashing eyes that meet every load requirement. From the compact LP-6 (4T) to the extremely strong LP-67 (67T), every lashing eye is designed for maximum safety and reliability.
