Security Tape
The tape is produced on 50 metre rolls and the core diameter fits any standard tape dispenser. Thanks to a strong acrylic adhesive, the SK-72 version bonds excellently to cardboard, while the Label Lock variant adheres to both cardboard and stretch film. Both tapes are available in various colours and can be personalised with your own imprint. Every roll meets strict quality standards; for instance, the Label Lock version is manufactured under ISO-9001 certification in the United Kingdom.
Types of Security Tape
Navacqs supplies two main types. Security Tape SK-72 is a cost-efficient option for basic boxes. Once removed, the word OPENED appears and a tamper indication is left behind on the cardboard. The tape is directly available from stock in red, blue or brown. Label Lock Security Tape was developed for situations with higher risk levels. This tape not only leaves a clear VOID-message behind but also contains a perforation every fifteen centimetres with a unique serial number — meaning every segment of tape can serve as an individual label. Moreover, the Label Lock variant also sticks to smooth plastic stretch-film, making it ideal for securely sealing pallets during shipment.
Applications
In warehouses and distribution centres, Security Tape secures boxes containing medical goods, food items or high-value products. For cross-docking and international shipments, the Label Lock variant helps seal stretch film around pallets, so recipients can instantly see whether a pallet has been opened in transit. For temperature-controlled supply chains, the tape remains functional from -30 °C up to +70 °C — making it suitable for use in freezers as well as warm warehouse environments.
Fits standard tape dispensers
Both tape types are wound on a standard 50-millimetre core and thus fit all common hand dispensers. Employees do not need special equipment, and tape can be applied as quickly as ordinary packaging tape. That makes Security Tape a low-threshold but effective measure against unauthorized access to your shipments.
