High Security Seals are tested and certified by independent authorities on multiple criteria. Both the product and the manufacturer’s production and quality control processes are evaluated. Thanks to ISO 17712:2013 certification, High Security Seals can be used for sealing containers in international transport. Various customs and security programs, such as C-TPAT and ISPS, require container seals that meet this certification standard.
High Security Bolt Seal
Containers can be secured using different types of High Security Seals. One of the most common types is the Bolt Seal. This seal consists of a pin and a barrel that click together securely. The Bolt Seal can be applied easily by hand, and once the two parts are locked, it can only be removed using heavy-duty bolt cutters. Both the Barrier Container Seal and the Neptune Container Seal are examples of Bolt Seals.
High Security Cable Seal
In addition to Bolt Seals, Cable Seals also belong to the High Security Seal category. This type of seal features an aluminum body and a steel cable that frays when cut, ensuring the seal cannot be reused. To comply with ISO 17712:2013 certification, the cable must have a minimum diameter of 3.5 mm. Therefore, only the Cable Seal 350 and Cable Seal 500 meet this certification requirement. Cable Seals are flexible and fit all standard container types.

Bolt Cutters for Seals
The Hydraulic Bolt Cutter and the HB Bolt Cutter are both suitable for cutting ISO 17712:2013 certified container seals and other materials such as chains or rebar. These tools are designed for efficient workplace use and enable safe, controlled removal of High Security Seals.
High Security Seals worden op diverse punten door onafhankelijke partijen getest en gekeurd. Niet alleen wordt het product gekeurd, maar ook het productieproces van de zegels en kwaliteitsbeheersing van de fabrikant. Door de ISO 17712:2013 certificering kunnen High Security Seals gebruikt worden voor het verzegelen van containers wereldwijd. Diverse (douane)instanties zoals de C-TPAT en ISPS vereisen containerzegels voorzien van dit certificaat.
High security bolt seal
Containers kunnen met verschillende type High Security Seals verzegeld worden. Een van de meest voorkomende verzegeling is de zogeheten Bolt Seal. Deze bestaat uit een pen en bus die in elkaar geklikt kunnen worden. Het aanbrengen van dit containerzegel kan eenvoudig met de hand. Wanneer de twee onderdelen van het zegel vast geklikt zijn is verbreken alleen nog mogelijk met een degelijke betonschaar. Zowel de Barrier Container Seal als de Neptune Container Seal zijn Bolt Seals.
High security cable seal
Naast de Bolt Seals vallen ook Cable Seals in de categorie High Security Seals. Dit type verzegeling bestaat uit een aluminium behuizing en een staaldraad dat rafelt bij verbreking. Het staaldraad van de Cable Seals hebben een minimale diameter van 3,5 mm om ISO 17712:2013 gecertificeerd te zijn. Zodoende zijn alleen de Cable Seal 350 en 500 voorzien van de ISO 17712:2013 certificering. Dit type verzegeling is extra flexibel en past op iedere gangbare container.

Betonscharen voor verzegelingen
De Hydraulische Betonschaar en de HB Betonschaar zijn beide geschikt voor het doorknippen van ISO 17712:2013-gecertificeerde containerverzegelingen en materialen zoals kettingen of betonijzer. Beide scharen zijn ontworpen voor efficiënt gebruik op de werkvloer en maken het verbreken van verzegelingen eenvoudig en gecontroleerd.
