Sealing pliers

The sealing pliers from Navacqs are designed for use in combination with sealing wire and plastic or lead sealing leads. The traditional Roll Tin Seal press also falls within this category. These tools are primarily used for sealing gas, water, and electricity meters, ensuring tamper-evident protection and traceability.

Types of Sealing Pliers

Navacqs supplies two main types of sealing pliers: the NZT-1 and the NZT-2.

The NZT-1 is suitable for pressing plastic or lead sealing leads. Depending on the size of the seal, it is available with a 10 mm or 12 mm die.

The NZT-2, also known as the Roll Tin Seal Press, is designed to securely roll metal tin seals around sealing wire. This traditional method creates a tamper-evident closure that cannot be reopened without visible damage. When used with Navacqs sealing wire, any movement or manipulation after sealing is impossible.

Applications

Sealing pliers are used for traditional sealing with sealing wire and sealing leads. This method is still widely used by utility and installation companies to secure meters and technical equipment in cooperation with grid operators. The use of sealing pliers ensures that it is immediately visible whether a meter or device has been opened, inspected, or remains intact.

Lead and plastic sealing leads

Navacqs offers both plastic and traditional lead sealing leads. The NZT-1P sealing plier is available in two versions: Small (10 mm die) and Medium (12 mm die).

Plastic sealing leads are made of durable polystyrene and provide a long-lasting and lightweight sealing solution. Lead sealing leads are softer and require less force to close. Both variants can be used with sealing wire supplied on 90 m spools, which can be cut to the desired length.

Customized Sealing Pliers

Sealing pliers can be personalized with engraving. The NZT-1P features upper and lower dies that can be engraved with text or a simple logo. When the plier closes the seal, the engraving is embossed into the lead or plastic seal, creating a unique, tamper-proof imprint.

The NZT-2 Roll Tin Seal Press can also be engraved with a company name or identifier, providing additional recognition and security.
