Different types of ratchet straps

Finally, there is the self-winding retaining strap, which automatically retracts after use and combines convenience with a tidy appearance — ideal for frequent loading and unloading.

Understanding the ratchet strap label

Each ratchet strap features a label containing key specifications such as the LC value (Load Capacity), material, production date, manufacturer, length and compliance with the European standard EN 12195-2. The color of the label indicates the type of material used. Part of the label is woven into the stitching, ensuring the information remains visible even if the outer part is cut off. This label is crucial for safe and correct application.
