With a length of 5 meters and a strap width of 25 mm, the Ratchet Strap 1.50 T is compact yet highly versatile. The narrow strap provides excellent flexibility, making it ideal for securing smaller or less bulky loads without compromising reliability. Its 5-meter length allows for a wide range of uses in transport, logistics, and private applications.
This strap consists of two parts: a ratchet section and a loose strap, both equipped with hooks. The ratchet enables controlled tensioning for a firm and secure hold of the cargo. Thanks to its efficient mechanism, the strap can be quickly applied and released, saving time during loading and unloading operations.
The Ratchet Strap 1.50 T has a breaking strength of 750 daN in straight tension and 1,500 daN when looped around the load. This makes it ideal for medium-duty tasks such as securing garden materials, small construction supplies, or furniture during transport. The combination of a narrow strap and relatively high strength makes this model exceptionally powerful within its class.
Whether transporting wood, tools, or other goods that require extra stability, this Ratchet Strap provides a reliable solution for a wide variety of medium-duty uses.
The standard version is blue and 5 meters long, but the Ratchet Strap 1.50 T can be fully customized. Choose different colors, lengths, or add your company name and logo for a professional finish. Navacqs offers full flexibility to meet your specific requirements.
You use a 1.5-tonne strap when the cargo is heavier than for light applications, but doesn't yet require heavy industrial-grade tension.
For example:
multiple pieces of furniture at once on a trailer
filled pallets of boxes
heavier machinery such as compressors
A lighter strap (0.8T) may not build up enough tension to keep the cargo stable while braking or swerving.
Using a stronger strap than needed is fine. The strap won't be "too strong" for the cargo.
There are practical differences, though:
a heavier strap is often wider and stiffer, making it less easy to handle
the ratchet is larger, so you need to apply more force to build up tension
with light or fragile cargo, a wide strap can leave marks more quickly
For example: for securing a few boxes, a heavy 5T strap would work, but a lighter strap is quicker to apply and fits the cargo better.
This strap has two values: LC 750 daN and LC 1,500 daN.
With a straight pull, the strap runs between two points and pulls the cargo in one direction, for example from a machine to a lashing eye. That's when 750 daN applies.
With wrapping, the strap runs over or around the cargo and is tensioned on both sides. This presses the cargo down, and 1,500 daN applies.
When securing a pallet from above, you therefore use the higher value.
You use a ratchet strap when more force is needed to pull the strap tight.
For example:
heavier cargo that can shift
situations where the strap really needs to be pulled tight
transport over longer distances
With a cam buckle strap, you tighten the strap by hand. With a ratchet, you build up more tension, so the cargo stays in place better.
