The Ratchet Strap 0.80 T is a practical 5-meter strap with a narrow width of 25 mm. Thanks to the combination of a light-duty ratchet and two solid claw hooks, this strap is easy to handle and can be quickly attached to rails, eye bolts, or other anchor points. It is ideal for safely securing light loads such as boards, furniture, pipes, or small equipment.
The breaking strength of this Ratchet Strap is Lc 400/800 daN — meaning 400 daN for straight tension and up to 800 daN when looped around the load. This makes it strong enough for most light to medium-duty transport tasks. The strap fully complies with European Standard EN 12195-2, ensuring safety and quality.
This Ratchet Strap is particularly convenient for DIY enthusiasts, installers, and transport professionals who need to secure light loads. Its 5-meter length provides great flexibility without unnecessary excess strap material, while the compact 25 mm width keeps it lightweight and easy to store.
The Ratchet Strap 0.80 T is standard in blue, but available on request in colors such as red, yellow, black, green, white, and more. Custom options include different lengths, printed logos or text, and personalized labels to match your professional needs.
You use a two-piece ratchet strap when fixed attachment points are available, such as lashing eyes or tracks. The hooks allow for quick coupling without the strap needing to wrap around the cargo.
Typical situations:
trailers with lashing eyes
trucks with tracks
machinery with attachment points
A two-piece ratchet strap is hooked onto a fixed point on both sides. This pulls the cargo directly toward the vehicle or floor. With a single-piece strap, you mainly pull the strap tight around the cargo, without it being coupled to fixed points.
LC indicates how much force the ratchet strap can safely absorb during use. With a two-piece strap, two values are often given, because the strap can be used in two ways.
LC 400 daN applies when the strap pulls in a straight line between two attachment points. This is the case, for example, when you pull a machine down with a hook on the left and a hook on the right.
LC 800 daN applies when the strap is used wrapped over or around the cargo. The strap then runs along both sides of the cargo, spreading the force across two sections of strap.
A practical example: if you secure a crate from left to right with a strap to two lashing eyes, the lower value applies. If you lay the strap over the crate and tension it on both sides, you use the higher value.
The exact securing method therefore determines which LC value applies.
Claw hooks are used when the attachment points are open, such as lashing eyes or edge profiles. The hook grips directly without extra couplings.
Practical applications:
trailer with metal eyes
trailer with an edge profile
machine frames with open attachment points
For closed track systems, other couplings, such as track fittings, work better.
