Seals with lower breaking strength, around 6 kg, can be opened by hand and are suitable for emergency situations. The NSS-530 with stainless steel components requires tools to open and offers maximum resistance to tampering.

No. A padlock seal is designed for single use. Once closed, the shackle can only be released by breaking the seal. Because each number is produced only once, a replaced seal stands out as soon as the number is checked.
A padlock seal closes with a single click, which in practice makes it slightly quicker to apply than a pull tight seal. A pull tight seal has a long tail that is passed through the opening and pulled tight. That length also allows a pull tight seal to fit around larger openings, such as the neck of a bag.
The first check is whether the shackle is still locked and the seal is undamaged. The number on the flag is then compared with the number in the records or on the consignment note. If the number does not match or the seal is damaged, the seal can no longer be relied on.
