The Cable Seal 350 is a versatile, ISO 17712:2013 certified container seal featuring an aluminum housing and a flexible 3.5 mm steel cable. The cable frays upon cutting, making reuse impossible. Thanks to its compact and flexible design, this High Security Seal is ideal for containers with tight or bent locking mechanisms where wider bolt seals do not fit. Each Cable Seal 350 comes with the standard imprint “CS350 SEALED” and a unique sequential serial number.
The Cable Seal 350 features a galvanized steel cable measuring 300 mm in length and 3.5 mm in diameter. This allows the seal to be easily applied through narrow openings or damaged container locks. While a bolt seal (minimum 8 mm diameter) may not fit in such cases, the Cable Seal 350 provides a reliable and secure alternative without compromising on safety.
The Cable Seal 350 complies with the international ISO 17712:2013 standard, mandatory worldwide for High Security Seals used in container transport. This seal has been officially tested and approved by the independent MIRDC laboratory. Both the product and production process meet strict standards for breaking strength, traceability, manufacturer marking, unique serial numbering, and the required “H” marking for High Security classification.
The Cable Seal 350 is recognized by international customs and safety programs, including C-TPAT (U.S.) and ISPS (maritime sector). This makes it suitable for intercontinental container transport and applications where physical integrity and traceability are critical.
The braided steel cable of the Cable Seal 350 is composed of multiple layers of fine steel wires. When cut, it immediately frays, making reuse impossible. This feature makes any tampering attempts easy to detect. The woven cable design also provides additional grip inside the aluminum housing, ensuring a secure and tamper-resistant closure.
Each Cable Seal 350 is manufactured with a unique serial number and the imprint “CS350 SEALED.” This ensures full traceability and prevents duplication or counterfeiting. Navacqs and the manufacturer guarantee that every serial-number combination is unique.

You use a Cable Seal 350 for sealing containers in international transport. This cable seal is ISO 17712:2013 certified and therefore meets the requirements of customs and transport organizations.
The seal is mainly used when a standard bolt seal doesn't fit, for example on damaged or bent closures on container doors.
For international container transport, an ISO 17712:2013 certified seal is mandatory. This doesn't necessarily have to be a bolt seal; a cable seal such as the Cable Seal 350 is also allowed, as long as it's certified.
This requirement comes from customs requirements and international regulations. Without a certified seal, a container can be refused or subjected to extra checks.
A cable seal is chosen when a bolt seal doesn't fit through the container's locking mechanism. This often happens with older or damaged containers where the closure is bent.
A bolt seal has a thicker pin and only fits through straight openings. A cable seal has a flexible 3.5 mm steel cable and can be applied through narrower or skewed openings.
The Cable Seal 350 has a breaking strength of 1,250 kg. This means the seal can't be broken by hand, and heavy tools are needed to remove it.
This high breaking strength is required for ISO-certified container seals. The seal stays intact during transport and can only be deliberately removed on arrival.
