Compact Container Seal with Steel Pin and Plastic Barrel
The Neptune Container Seal consists of an 8 mm steel pin and a metal barrel encased in durable yellow plastic. Once closed, the two parts lock securely together and can only be broken using cutting tools. With a breaking strength of 1,000 kg, this seal provides dependable protection during transport. Unlike more advanced designs such as the Barrier Container Seal, the Neptune does not include an ABS coating on the steel pin. As a result, the metal is more susceptible to corrosion, especially when exposed to seawater. There may also be minor space between the pin and barrel. To minimize the risk of tampering, it is recommended to apply the seal with the barrel facing upward, making it harder to manipulate using tools or chemicals.
