The SBS Turtle Container Lock provides maximum security for shipping containers and trailers. The lock is supplied with the Abloy® PL-358T padlock and is certified with the highest KIWA SCM Heavy Duty classification, a requirement for many insurers. Thanks to its durable construction and high quality materials, this lock withstands intensive use, weather exposure and sabotage attempts. The Turtle Container Lock also carries TAPA TSR certification for levels 2 and 3, providing additional assurance during road transport. For a long service life, it is recommended to clean the lock monthly, for example with WD40.

Kiwa SCM Heavy Duty certified (for transport insurance)

The Turtle Container Lock meets the strictest requirements for theft prevention and holds the highest KIWA SCM classification. Many transport insurance providers require this certification for coverage of trailers and containers. This makes the lock highly suitable for professional transport and long term use.

TAPA TSR certification (levels 2 and 3)

In addition to SCM approval, the Turtle Container Lock is certified to TAPA TSR levels 2 and 3. This standard, issued by the Transported Asset Protection Association, focuses on minimising risks during road transport. This makes the lock suitable for logistics companies operating under high security requirements.

Includes Abloy® PL-358T padlock (Protec²)

The Turtle is supplied with the Abloy® PL-358T padlock, equipped with a Protec² cylinder, a 14 mm boron steel shackle and the SKG quality mark. This padlock meets CEN class 5 and delivers a very high level of security. The combination of materials and design makes the padlock extremely resistant to tampering and forced entry attempts.

Key certificate for ordering additional keys or locks

Each delivery includes two keys and a unique key certificate. Additional keys can only be ordered through Navacqs or ASSA Abloy® by providing this certificate. Without the certificate, key duplication is not possible. This prevents unauthorised copies and increases overall security. The certificate should therefore be stored safely.

Keyed alike options or master key systems

On request, multiple padlocks can be supplied keyed alike, allowing all locks to be opened with the same key. Integration into a master key system is also possible, where individual keys open a single lock, while a master key opens all locks within the system.

Installation

The Turtle Container Lock is supplied with a complete installation kit and manual. The construction consists of two parts that are mounted on the left and right container doors. The design allows for 15 mm of tolerance when closing the doors. After mounting, the lock is secured using the Abloy padlock, which is fully enclosed within the stainless steel housing. This housing is corrosion resistant and finished with a durable white powder coating.
