The lock is specifically designed for trailers and semi trailers equipped with a 2 inch kingpin. Once installed, the trailer can no longer be coupled to a tractor unit. This provides an effective barrier against theft or unauthorised movement.

Unique key certificate for ordering replacement keys

Keys for the Andis 1100 Kingpin Lock can only be supplied through Navacqs or Abloy®. Because the key contains a rotating ball, duplication is impossible, even with 3D printing. To order additional keys, the key certificate is required, as it contains the key number and patent number. The certificate should therefore be stored safely.

Expandable with keyed alike locks or a master key system

The Andis 1100 is supplied with two identical keys. On request, multiple locks can be supplied keyed alike so one key can open several locks. The lock can also be integrated into a master key system in which individual locks have their own key while a master key opens all locks in the system.
