The SBS PL7000 padlock is an exceptionally strong and durable lock. It consists of a stainless steel body and a hardened steel shackle with a diameter of 14 mm. The cylinder of the padlock is positioned at the top, which means that when the lock is closed, the cylinder is fully protected and cannot be accessed.

Inside the stainless steel housing, the lock features a double ball locking mechanism. When the padlock is closed, both balls engage into the notches of the shackle, preventing any removal. Thanks to its well considered design and material selection, the SBS PL7000 padlock has achieved several certifications, including EN1627, EN12320 and VbV approval.

Suitable for long term use

The SBS PL7000 padlock is designed for long term use and can withstand extreme weather conditions. To maintain smooth operation, it is recommended to clean the lock monthly with a lubricant such as Brunox or WD40. This helps remove dirt and ensures consistent performance over time.

Compatible with Abloy PL-358

During the design phase of the SBS PL7000 padlock, its dimensions were matched closely to those of the Abloy PL-358 padlock. As a result, the PL7000 padlock also fits perfectly into the Navacqs Cobra Container Lock. The Cobra Container Lock combined with the PL7000 padlock is certified with the quality mark.

The padlock is suitable for securing and locking containers in the transport and logistics sector, as well as for containers used on construction sites. In most cases, the 14 mm shackle fits easily through standard locking hasps.

Master key system and key management

The padlock is supplied with a key card and two keys. The key card should be kept in a safe place, as it is required to order additional keys. Multiple padlocks can be supplied keyed alike, allowing all locks to be opened with the same key. It is also possible to create a master key system, where each padlock has its own key, but a single master key can open them all.
