The Cable Seal 150 is a cable seal certified to ISO/PAS 17712, class I. It consists of a 1.5 mm steel cable and an aluminium body. Once closed, the seal can only be removed with a cable cutter and cannot be reused afterwards. Every seal carries a unique number.
Breaking strength 330 kg
With a breaking strength of 330 kg, the Cable Seal 150 is considerably stronger than plastic pull-up seals. Breaking it by hand is not possible. Inside the locking body, a gear turns in one direction only. The cable clicks into place easily, but cannot be pulled back out.
Flexible steel cable
Thanks to its 1.5 mm diameter, the cable is flexible. It can be fitted in tight spaces and on bent locking points. In transport, industry and offshore, the seal is used on flanges, couplings, machinery, trolleys and internal containers, among others.
Single use
The cable is braided from several layers of thin wires. Once cut, these fray, so the seal cannot be reused. This makes the Cable Seal 150 suitable for long journeys and higher risk shipments.
Unique numbering
Each Cable Seal 150 is printed with CS 150 SEALED and a unique sequential number. Navacqs and the manufacturer together ensure that every combination is produced only once. As a result, each seal can be traced.
