The Cable Seal 150 is a robust and versatile cable seal certified toISO/PAS 17712 “I” standards. Featuring a strong 1.5 mm steel cable and an aluminum locking body, it offers a high level of security and tamper resistance. This seal is ideal for applications where manipulation or reuse must be completely prevented. Each Cable Seal 150 is laser-marked with a unique serial number and can be customized with a company name or logo upon request.
With a breaking strength of 330 kg, the Cable Seal 150 falls under the category of Security Seals, offering significantly more strength than standard plastic seals. The locking mechanism contains an internal one-way gear that allows the cable to be pulled tight but prevents it from being released. Cutting tools are required to remove the seal.
The 1.5 mm diameter steel cable is highly flexible, making it easy to apply even in tight or awkward spaces. This flexibility makes the Cable Seal 150 suitable for securing flanges, couplings, machinery, trolleys, and other equipment where compact yet reliable sealing is required.
The multi-strand steel cable is constructed from fine braided wires that fray visibly when cut, ensuring any attempt at reuse is immediately noticeable. This feature greatly enhances tamper evidence and security, making the Cable Seal 150 particularly suitable for high-risk or long-distance transport.
The Cable Seal 150 is an excellent alternative to plastic pull-tight seals in applications that demand additional protection. It cannot be opened by hand and offers far greater resistance to cutting, twisting, or tampering.
Thanks to its strength, flexibility, and weather resistance, the Cable Seal 150 is widely used across transport, industrial, and offshore sectors. It provides reliable security for trolleys, flanges, couplings, and internal containers exposed to demanding environments.
Each Cable Seal 150 is laser-marked with “CS 150 SEALED” and a unique serial number. Both Navacqs and the manufacturer guarantee that every combination is produced only once, ensuring complete traceability and preventing duplication or fraud.
The Cable Seal 150 can be customized to include your company name, logo, or barcode for added identification and branding. See the table below for details.

You use a Cable Seal 150 when a seal must not be breakable by hand, but still needs to stay flexible. Thanks to its thin 1.5 mm steel cable, this cable seal also fits through small or hard-to-reach openings.
You see this, for example, on parts with limited space to apply a seal, such as pipes, valves or small closure points on machinery. A thicker or stiffer seal often doesn't fit properly through these.
The Cable Seal 150 has a breaking strength of 330 kg. This means the seal can't be broken by hand, and you need cutters or cable shears to remove it.
That strength is needed for applications where movement occurs at the closure, such as during transport. Think of a truck where doors or components move slightly while driving and pull on the seal.
The thinnest cable seal in the range is the Cable Seal 150, with a 1.5 mm steel cable. Because of this small diameter, the seal is flexible and suitable for narrow or hard-to-reach openings.
Thicker cable seals, such as the 3.5 mm or 5 mm variants, are stiffer and mainly used for containers. The 150 is specifically intended for situations where you have limited space to seal.
