Description

The Heavy Duty Pull Tight Seal is a strong and versatile plastic security seal that cannot be broken by hand (22 kg breaking strength). Made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), this seal is designed for intensive use both indoors and outdoors and is resistant to extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C. Thanks to its robust construction and flexible sealing tail, the HPT is ideal for sealing trucks, railcars, and barrels in sectors such as logistics, chemicals, and food processing.

Three Lengths for Every Application

The Heavy Duty Pull Tight Seal is available in three different lengths: 12 inches (30 cm), 15 inches (37.5 cm), and 18 inches (45 cm). This allows users to select the most suitable length for their specific application. The length is printed directly on the seal, for example, “HPT 12 SEALED” or “HPT 18 SEALED.” Its flexible tail allows the seal to be pulled tightly for secure closure of nearly any object.

Strong Tail and High Breaking Strength

With a tail diameter of 3.8 mm and a breaking strength of 22 kg, the HPT offers a reliable and durable closure. This model is classified as a medium-strength pull tight seal—stronger than the Medium Duty Pull Tight Seal (15 kg) but slightly lighter than the Swift Seal (35 kg). Cutting pliers are required to remove it.

Durable Delrin® Locking Mechanism

The HPT features a locking insert made of Delrin®, a patented acetal (POM) material often used as a metal replacement. Delrin® provides exceptional strength and high temperature resistance from -40°C to +120°C. Unlike metal inserts, Delrin® does not produce wear particles, making it a hygienic choice for food and medical applications.

Weather and Chemical Resistant

The use of HDPE ensures that the Heavy Duty Pull Tight Seal is resistant to chemicals, moisture, and UV radiation. This guarantees a long service life even in harsh environments. These characteristics make the seal suitable for various conditions, including refrigerated transport and chemical storage.

Unique Marking and Customization

Each HPT seal is standardly printed with the text “HPT SEALED” and a unique serial number that is produced only once. This prevents reuse and simplifies traceability. On request, the seal can be supplied in various colors and personalized with your company logo or name.
