The Sealing Wire 50/30 Bundle is the most commonly used type of sealing wire in the Navacqs range. It consists of two intertwined steel strands and is used together with lead seals and a sealing press. Made from galvanized steel, the wire has a breaking strength of 7 kg and is suitable for sealing gas, electricity, and water meters. Each bundle contains 1,000 pre-cut wires, available in lengths of 20, 30, or 40 cm.

Construction: 0.5 mm core wire with 0.3 mm wrapped strand (50/30)

The 50/30 sealing wire is made up of two steel strands: a 0.5 mm core wire with a 0.3 mm wrapped outer wire. This double structure provides extra grip and strength. Once the wire is inserted into a lead seal and crimped shut with pliers, it locks firmly in place. The seal cannot be reopened or pulled apart, making tampering impossible.

Ready-to-use: supplied in bundles of 1,000 pieces

For added convenience, the Sealing Wire 50/30 is supplied in bundles of 1,000 pre-cut wires. With fixed lengths of 20, 30, or 40 cm, the wire is ready to use right out of the box so there is no need to cut it from a spool. This saves time and prevents errors when measuring. The shorter lengths are ideal for compact seals, while the longer versions are perfect when the sealing points are further apart. In addition to bundles, the Sealing Wire 50/30 is also available on spools of 90 or 360 meters for situations where varying lengths are required.

Use with lead seals and sealing pliers

Sealing with wire and lead seals is a proven method that has been used for decades. Both ends of the wire are inserted through the lead seal, which is then crimped shut with sealing pliers. The braided texture prevents any movement, ensuring a tamper-evident and reliable seal.

Galvanized steel with 7 kg breaking strength

The wire is galvanized for protection against moisture and corrosion. With a breaking strength of 7 kg, it offers the required durability for applications where strength is essential. For lighter use, Sealing Wire 20/20 is an alternative, offering a breaking strength of 1.7 kg.

Applications: meters and technical equipment

The Sealing Wire 50/30 Bundle is ideal for sealing gas, electricity, and water meters, as well as various types of technical equipment. With a thin 1.1 mm diameter, the wire easily passes through narrow openings. Installation should only be performed by certified technicians. As an alternative, the Twist Seal can be used, a plastic seal that requires no sealing pliers and comes with a standard length of 30 cm.
