The Tension Lever is designed for tightening and pulling lashing chains taut. It also lets you adjust the chain length, so the chain is always tensioned to the right size. The Tension Lever is always used together with a Lashing Chain and can be ordered separately or as a complete set. The Tension Lever is DNV GL certified and suitable for use on classified vessels.

Suitable for tensioning lashing chains

The Tension Lever pulls the lashing chain taut and shortens its length to the desired size. This keeps the cargo stable and prevents it from shifting during transport.

Suitable for heavy cargo and RoRo transport

Thanks to a breaking strength of 200 kN (20 T), the combination of lashing chain and Tension Lever is suitable for securing heavy cargo during transport at sea. It's also a reliable choice for RoRo transport, where vehicles and machinery are driven on and off board. Think of trucks, agricultural machinery and earthmoving equipment.

DNV GL certified

Both the Tension Lever and the Lashing Chain are tested and certified by DNV GL. This certification allows you to use the Tension Lever on DNV GL classified vessels.

WLL of 100 kN (10 T)

The strength of the Tension Lever is expressed in two ways: breaking strength and Working Load Limit (WLL). Both values are stated on the DNV GL certificate. The breaking strength is 200 kN (20 T) and the WLL is 100 kN (10 T).
