The Lashing Chain is a steel chain for securing heavy cargo during transport. With hooks on both ends, you attach the chain easily to the cargo and to lashing points on board. Combined with the Tension Lever, you pull the chain taut, so the cargo can no longer shift. The Lashing Chain is DNV GL certified and suitable for use on classified vessels.

Chain of 6 metres with 13 mm links

The steel chain has a length of 6 metres and links with a diameter of 13 mm. Combined with the Tension Lever, you set the length as needed and pull the chain taut, so the cargo stays firmly in place during transport.

Steel hooks on both ends

Both ends of the Lashing Chain feature steel hooks. These let you attach the chain quickly to the cargo and to lashing points or fastening eyes on board.

Suitable for heavy cargo and RoRo transport

Thanks to a breaking strength of 200 kN (20 T), the Lashing Chain is suitable for securing heavy cargo during transport at sea. DNV GL certified

The Lashing Chain is tested and certified by DNV GL. This certification allows you to use the chain on DNV GL classified vessels.

Breaking strength of 200 kN (20 T) and WLL of 100 kN (10 T)

The strength of the Lashing Chain is expressed in two ways: breaking strength and Working Load Limit (WLL). Both values are stated on the DNV GL certificate. The breaking strength is 200 kN (20 T) and the WLL is 100 kN (10 T).
