Compatible with DF-66 base plate

The LP-21 is specially designed for use with the Breech Base DF-66 base plate. This floor plate is equipped with a locking mechanism that prevents the lashing eye from coming loose during transport. When placed into the plate, the attachment loop is locked, creating a safe and stable connection. A major advantage is that the loop is loadable in four directions, providing extra flexibility when securing different types of cargo.

Safe and quick installation

Installation of the LP-21 is done easily from above. This makes it possible to use the lashing eye in tight spaces or difficult-to-reach positions. After placement, the loop is turned a quarter turn, after which the lashing eye locks securely. It remains firmly in place, even under intensive loads. Thanks to this fast installation and removal method, the deck surface remains multifunctional when the lashing eye is not in use.

Compatible with twistlocks and alternative securing techniques

The DF-66 base plate is not only suitable for the LP-21 D-ring, but also for twistlocks such as the Breech Base Twistlock BF-66. This allows containers as well as alternative constructions to be secured to one surface. Combinations with chains, tensioners or other securing techniques can therefore be used without difficulty.

Robust and corrosion-resistant design

The LP-21 lashing eye is made from 40Cr forged steel and finished with a corrosion-resistant primer. This gives the product a long service life and ensures resistance to harsh maritime conditions. With a weight of 8.3 kg and a solid finish, the LP-21 is particularly suitable for heavy loads.
