The Cobra Container Lock is a highly secure container lock with an adjustable shackle (240 mm to 460 mm) and comes with the high quality Abloy® PL-358T padlock. Thanks to the Protec² cylinder technology and the robust steel housing, this lock is extremely resistant to tampering and weather conditions. Keys can only be obtained through Navacqs or ASSA Abloy®. It is supplied as standard with two keys and a key certificate. Locks can also be supplied keyed alike.

Kiwa SCM Heavy Duty certified container lock (for transport insurance)

The lock has the highest Kiwa SCM certification level: Heavy Duty. This certification is required by transport insurers such as TVM. The lock is designed for intensive use and can withstand extreme weather conditions. For optimal performance, it is recommended to clean and lubricate the lock monthly.

Since 1993, Kiwa SCM has certified security products such as trailer and container locks. The Cobra Container Lock has been tested and approved according to inspection standard MP03. The certification is granted by an independent panel of experts from the security and insurance industries.

Strict practical testing

The container lock undergoes extensive testing, including corrosion, dust, drop and freeze tests. During the attack test, the lock must withstand at least five minutes of forceful assault using various tools, including battery powered equipment. These tests simulate real world conditions, as containers are often located in remote, unsupervised areas.

Includes Abloy® PL-358T Protec² padlock with two keys

The lock is fully integrated with the Abloy® PL-358T padlock. The padlock fits tightly into the steel housing, making tampering nearly impossible. The cylinder features an anti drill disc and keys with a unique rotating ball design, which prevents duplication without the original key certificate.

Adjustable shackle (240 mm to 460 mm) fits all standard shipping containers

Thanks to its smart design with multiple locking positions, the lock can easily be adjusted to fit various container types. The combination of an adjustable shackle and a precisely fitting lock housing ensures a secure and reliable closure.

Key certificate for ordering additional Protec² keys

Keys cannot be copied without the accompanying key certificate, ensuring that unauthorised duplication is impossible. Only Navacqs or Abloy® can supply additional keys upon presentation of this certificate, which includes the key number and patent code. Keep the card safe for future use.

Expandable with keyed alike locks or master key system

The lock is supplied as standard with two identical keys. Locks can be ordered keyed alike or integrated into a master key system, allowing one master key to open multiple locks while individual keys open only one lock.
