Sealing cars makes it visible whether a vehicle has been opened since the last check, for example during transport, storage or parking. This makes it possible to establish directly whether unauthorized persons have had access to the vehicle.
A seal for cars needs to meet a few requirements: durable enough to withstand weather conditions during long-term transport, fitted with a unique, sequential number for traceability, and matched to the required security level. For higher-risk situations, a sturdier, harder-to-break seal is preferable, while an indicative seal is often sufficient for regular use.
