Mail bags

A seal on a mail bag prevents the contents from being opened or tampered with during transport, protecting goods and documents against theft, loss or damage. A seal for this application needs to meet a few requirements: a high breaking strength that can't be broken by hand, grip on the inside of the neck so the seal can't shift, and resistance to wear, temperature and chemicals during transport.
