A seal on a pallet prevents fraud, damage and theft, especially for valuable goods such as electronic equipment. Depending on the packaging, this involves sealing stretch film or the crossing points of polypropylene strapping. A seal for this application needs to meet a few requirements: a permanent mark or layer left on removal so reattachment is impossible, a unique sequential number for traceability, and suitability for the type of packaging (film or strapping).
