For wholesalers, sealing is used to establish whether stock, containers and shipments have been opened without authorization, from storage through to delivery at the customer. This includes sealing roll cages and pallets leaving the warehouse, transport containers moving between distribution centers, and boxes with orders sent out to multiple customers at once. Because each seal carries a unique, sequential number, it's possible to check on arrival whether a shipment has remained undisturbed in transit.
