Types of Hole Punch Pliers
NCT-1 – A lightweight model suitable for occasional use. Its simple design and low weight make it comfortable to handle. The NCT-1 is ideal for paper and cardboard and is supplied with a 3 mm round punch.
NCT-3 – A more robust version made of solid stainless steel, suitable for frequent use. This model can also punch through plastic cards, making it versatile for industrial or administrative applications.
NCT-2 – The most durable professional-grade punch plier in the Navacqs range. Made entirely of chrome-plated steel, the NCT-2 is designed for intensive daily use. It comes standard with a round or triangular punch and can be customized with special shapes such as a star, square, or letter upon request.
Jaw depth
The jaw depth determines how far the pliers can reach into the material.
The NCT-1 offers a reach of 20 mm, ideal for small stickers or ticket strips.
The NCT-3 features a 30 mm reach, suitable for entry tickets and inspection labels.
The NCT-2 provides the deepest reach at 50 mm, allowing greater flexibility when marking larger documents or cards.
Applications
Hole Punch Pliers are widely used for access control, inspection marking, and registration. In maintenance environments, they are used to punch inspection tags or service stickers after checks. At events or for subscription cards, they prevent card reuse. The heavier models such as the NCT-2 and NCT-3 can also be used on plastic ID cards, offering broad versatility in professional settings. However, these pliers are not intended for cutting leather or thick belts.
Customized Punch Shapes
Standard control pliers come equipped with a 3 mm round punch. Depending on the model, alternative punch shapes are available, including triangle, star, square, or even custom initials or logos. The NCT-2 and NCT-3 models can be personalized from a minimum order of 100 pieces.
