A seal on a truck prevents fraud, damage and theft of the cargo, and makes it visible whether the cargo hold has been opened since departure. If the seal is intact on arrival, the cargo hasn't been touched along the way.
A seal for this application needs to meet a few requirements: matching the type of closure (such as TIR cables or a door lock), a unique, one-time produced number and print, and the required security level, from indicative for regular European transport to a sturdier Security Seal for extra protection.
